A no-kill animal sanctuary based in Mendocino, California. They have adoption clinics set up every other weekend at George (a nice pet-store), on Fourth Street, in Berkeley. These folks need all sorts of volunteer help including short-term foster care for animals, fundraising, help at the sanctuary in Mendocino and, of course, financial assistance. This is a smaller version of the Best Friends Sanctuary, in Utah.
